Neighbor Circles June 9th at the Phillips Center

Neighbor Circles is a simple way for folks to get to know each other better over three dinners and three conversations, connect and maybe do something together in the neighborhood that’s worth doing.

Join Denver Foundation Strengthening Neighborhoods, NEDCC and the King Trimble Economic Prosperity Center on June 9th, 5:30 to 7:30 at the Phillips Center (3532 Franklin) to learn how you can become a host of a Neighbor Circle. Dinner, childcare and interpretation will be provided.

RSVP to Drew O’Connor so we have a head count for dinner. See the attached flyer for more information. Feel free to forward this to your NNE neighborhood networks. Hope you can join us!

About Me

My Photo
The Cole neighborhood, which became part of the city in 1874, stretches from 32nd Avenue to 40th Avenue and from York Street to Downing Street. Cole Junior High School and the neighborhood itself are named after Carlos M. Cole, a superintendent of Denver's Public Schools who was instrumental in establishing junior high schools in Denver. More than half of the residential blocks were developed prior to 1900. Several historic buildings remain, like the cleanly designed red brick and sandstone Wyatt School on 3620 Franklin Street, built in 1887 and named after its former principal George W. Wyatt.
